Brokopondo is a capital town of This Brokopondo District, Suriname. It's found on the shore of the Suriname river, just north of the Afobaka dam. Brokopondo can be reached via the street from Paranam. Neighborhood is a granite monument produced by sculptor Jo Rens, displaying one sitting and writing and two men: one position having a parrot.
