Koutiala (Bambara: ߞߎߕߌߊߟߊ tr. Kutiala) is a town in Mali in the administrative area of Sikasso and can be located 140 km north west of the city of Sikasso. Koutiala functions as its own administrative Cercle's capital, home to 575,253 individuals in 2009.

As of this 2009 Census, Koutiala has 137,919 residents.
