Moundou
Brief information about the Moundou
Moundou (Arabic: موندو) is the next largest city in Chad and is the capital of this region of Logone Occidental. The city is located about the Mbéré River (a tributary of the Western Logone) some 475 kilometres south west of the capital N'Djamena. It is the Ngambai people's most important city.
Moundou has become as an industrial center, home to the Gala Brewery, which produces the most popular beer along with the oil and cotton of Chad industries.
