Brief information about the Banfora

Banfora is a town in south western Burkina Faso, with a population of 93,750 people (2012). It's the Comoe province's capital. The town lies 85 kilometres (53 mi) south-west of Bobo-Dioulasso, on the Abidjan - Ouagadougou Railway. The Cascades p Karfiguéla are a series of waterfalls near Banfora.

As of the 2006 Census, Banfora was the fourth largest town in Burkina Faso by people.
